A few times over the years, our church organizes a 5K race to support a chosen nonprofit serving in Olympia. This event brings us together with our neighbors, all unified by a common purpose: to generate crucial financial resources while living out Jesus’ call to serve those in need.

This type of initiative is vital because as nonprofits face funding challenges they need reliable community support to sustain their essential services. By partnering with a local organization, our church amplifies impact, our volunteers bring passion and energy, the nonprofit brings expertise, and together we address community needs far more effectively than either could alone.
