Serve the City

Jesus came for the sick, not the well. He came for sinners, not the self-righteous.

We believe that as God’s ongoing presence in the world, we are at our best when we care about the things God cares about. Following Jesus’ teachings, our church chooses to live simply so that we can give generously and serve compassionately those who are broken and suffering.

In our city, we seek to show compassion by generously giving our time, skills, and money to those that need it most. We take care of our city, help our schools, and build real relationships with the people around us. We also seek to partner with organizations and non-profits in the Olympia area that are doing a good work with the impoverished, orphaned, widowed, and vulnerable families.

  • When Jesus heard this, he told them, “Healthy people don’t need a doctor—sick people do. I have come to call not those who think they are righteous, but those who know they are sinners.”
